Job Description
We are seeking a few Global Development Program (GDP) Associates aka Global Development Program Associate (Internship) to participate in a 6-month experiential learning program also referred to as a paid internship program designed to introduce the global insurance industry with a preferred global insurance provider, Clements Worldwide. This can be completed fully remote or hybrid, work location depends on your location and approval from Human Resources.

Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:

  • within one year of graduation with a bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Insurance or equivalent major
  • exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • upon successful completion of the program, have an active license in both P&C and L&H
  • legal authorization to work in the United States
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

  • receive guidance, training, and mentoring from department leaders in planning, carrying out activities and assignments
  • undergo work-based training for 6-months, designed to help develop the skills needed to be a successful Insurance Associate within our company
  • adhere to program timelines and structured training program to obtain licenses in Property & Casualty (P&C) and Life & Health (L&H) with first attempt paid by Clements Worldwide
  • interact directly with colleagues, clientele, and/or other internal or external customers in the planning of assignments
  • rotate through various departments to include Claims, Commercial Insurance (CI), Personal Insurance (PI), Marketing, Strategic Partnerships (SP) and Underwriting to better understand the functioning of a global organization
  • complete research and develop PowerPoint presentations to communicate findings
  • after successful completion of the program, you may be given an offer in a department matching your aptitude and interest with the Clements' business needs
  • other related duties as assigned
