The OILS program in the University Libraries & Learning Sciences seeks to hire Temporary Part-Time Faculty to teach courses in our undergraduate program for the 2023 Spring semester (starting in mid-March). The program anticipates a need for a Temporary Part-time Faculty position for OILS 421 (Production and Utilization of Instructional Materials) and OILS 102 (Online Learning Strategies). OILS 421 covers training in the use of media production and display equipment, production of graphic materials, audio recordings, posters and criteria for effective design and use of media materials in training and education. OILS 102 prepares students to be better online learners by introducing key concepts of online learning and learning approaches, self-directed learning skills, effective interactions for online learning, learning tools, technologies, and resources for online learning, and skills for collaborative online communication.
