The College of Education and Human Sciences (COEHS) at the
University of New Mexico impacts the lives of New Mexicans daily and is looking
for someone not only to tell those stories but also to become part of them. The
COEHS invites applicants for a new staff position, Communications and Marketing
Manager. This position provides the opportunity not only to define a critical
component of the College's administrative team but also to be a part of the
initiatives and programs that impact the lives of New Mexicans.
The COEHS is seeking a dynamic individual who can help to
amplify the work of the college by creating a clear and consistent singular
thread through public relations, communications and marketing, and general
outreach. The College is complex and large (more than 100 faculty and 1000
students), with 5 academic departments representing a high number of
disciplines, programs, research, as well as community engagement throughout New
Mexico and beyond. This new position will provide the College with an
identified staff member to coordinate and synthesize its overall communication
and marketing needs to reach a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
This Communications and Marketing Manager will provide
high-level management and coordination of the College's communications,
strategic marketing, outreach, and representation in promotional materials,
including in print as well as via social media. Duties will include, but not be
limited to:
Bachelor's degree; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience.
