Minimum Qualifications:
1) Must be board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine;
2) Must be board certified/board eligible in Geriatric Medicine by date of hire;
3) Must be fully licensed to work in New Mexico and
4) Must be eligible to work in
US.
Preferred Qualifications:
1) Interest/Experience in providing efficient evidence based general geriatric medicine care including but not limited to geriatric assessments, prevention, nutrition/wellness, chronic and complex disease management ;
2) Interest/experience in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows;
3) Interest/Experience in developing outpatient research and quality improvement projects in Geriatrics.;
4) Interest/Experience in caring for underserved populations;
5) A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and student success, as well as working with broadly diverse communities..
