Position Summary |
The Department of OB/GYN is seeking an experienced, goal-oriented,
resourceful and self-motivated Administrative Assistant 3. Under
limited supervision, this position will provide operational coordination,
administrative support, and project management to our Urogynecology division and other divisions as assigned. The selected candidate will also
manage, prepare, analyze and oversee high level and sometimes
sensitive/confidential reports for their respective divisional leadership,
manage divisional SOPs, which includes collaborating with various Division
Chiefs or external departments, scheduling of meetings/events/conferences with internal and external constituents for our Faculty. This candidate must be able to work in a team environment, be able to multitask, forecast and prioritize based on the divisions and department's needs.

Conditions of Employment |
- If this position is assigned to the Athletics Department, either administratively or functionally, compliance with all NCAA rules and regulations is required.
- Employees who provide services or work in patient care or clinical areas are required to be in compliance with the University's influenza vaccination requirement.
- All regular, non-temporary positions assigned to this classification are represented by a labor union and subject to the terms and conditions of the US-UNM Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Minimum Qualifications |
High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
Preferred Qualifications |
Preferred Qualifications: - Organizational skills
- Experience in minute taking, letter and memo writing
- Schedule coordination experience
- Experience with licensure and/or credentialing
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with scheduling and hosting meetings in person and via zoom
- Experience working with leadership, faculty, physicians, students
- Experience working in an administrative office environment
- Strong organization, prioritization, and time management skills
