Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Graphic Designer 2, we'll count on you to:

  • Plan, manage and deliver projects from concept through deliverables.
  • Assist in development of materials and serve as presenter/contributor/leader for meetings and task force assignments
  • Work as a project lead with other designers and on multicomponent projects, and partner with clients to shape deliverables
  • Conceptualize and design corporate and marketing materials, research technology/production techniques, and processes as necessary with each project
  • Ensure quality control through approval of proofs, press checks, and review/testing of materials before deployment
  • Perform other duties as needed
  • Reviews graphics requests, communicates with internal clients and schedules projects with designers.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Fine Arts or related field of study or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of 5 years professional experience
  • Strong knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Ability to design a wide variety of styles
  • Additional skills may include Premiere, After Effects, Dreamweaver, HTML, JavaScript and CSS; offset printing/digital printing/color correction
  • Eye for design details, such as typography, alignment, hierarchy, etc
  • Strong portfolio showing design experience

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Web Design or Fine Arts related field of study or equivalent experience
