As a Cleared Defense Contractor (CDC), SPA has entered into a Security Agreement with the Department of Defense to ensure that all sensitive government information entrusted to the company is protected from unauthorized disclosure and that security programs supporting sensitive IT circuits meet all requirements. The Security team's role is to ensure that SPA complies with the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and the Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs) for the handling, storage and disposition of classified material entrusted to the company and the support of classified IT systems. This is especially critical as the programs and activities that SPA supports are vital parts of the Defense and Security systems of the United States.

SPA has an immediate need for a COMSEC Manager.

Responsibilities

As SPA's COMSEC Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining SPA's COMSEC account, to include maintaining governing instructions current, review messages and address account anomalies, conduct secure equipment and classified keying, material inventories, inspections and related COMSEC support. You will administer a TOP SECRET inventory and document control program to account for all COMSEC materials, conduct required inventories, and ensure compliance. You will work with the Senior Director of Security to coordinate COMSEC programs across SPA.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

    Active TOP SECRET clearance with SCI and SAP eligibility
  • 3 - 5 years experience with administering programs involving government oversight and strict inventory control
  • Familiarity with COMSEC requirements and procedures to include the acquisition, maintenance, operation and disposition of COMSEC equipment
  • Willingness to complete required certifications in the first two weeks if not already certified

Desired Qualifications:

  • Certificate of completion of the Key Management Infrastructure course of instruction
  • Certificate of completion of the COMSEC Account Manager Course (CAMC)
  • Willingness to integrate with the broader security team
