Digital Marketing Specialist
Minimum Qualifications Summary
Certification & Education
  • High school education required
  • Bachelor degree preferred
Experience Required
  • Minimum of 3 years of industry experience performing the duties listed below, and/or similar digital management, strategy, and execution in the private or public sector.
Job Objective
NAVSPECWARCEN PAO requires a contracted Digital Content Team (DCT) to create and manage engaging multi-channel digital content in order to provide awareness, information and assistance to a demographically diverse population in the digital public domain, as well as US Navy forces worldwide.
Responsibilities
  • Create at least three (3) pieces of original textual/graphic content for weekly social media distribution.
  • Upload additional content as directed, including videos created by PAO staff and contractor Videographer (see below), and content from approved sources.
  • Provide audio transcription service up to twice a month to support Government podcast.
  • Monitor, manage, and engage with visitors/followers/subscribers daily during work hours in accordance with guidance and policies provided by Government.
  • Provide social media analytics and media monitoring on a weekly, quarterly, and annual basis commencing with the beginning of the Contract Year.
Education & Certification
  • High school education required
  • Bachelor degree preferred
Work Location
Naval Amphibious Base Coronado, Ca. Some duties will occur offsite.
