SPA's Sea Land Air (SLA) Division supports a diverse portfolio of national security government clients, including the Undersea Enterprise, the Navy Surface Community, the Navy MPTE Enterprise, the Air Force, Army, DoD Agencies, DARPA, international clients including the Canadian Navy and Australian Defence Force. Our primary objective is to provide timely, objective and analytic assessments that integrate the policy, operational, technical, programmatic and acquisition aspects of our clients' challenges.

Leveraging both in-domain and cross-domain expertise to maximize our clients' success, SLA Division acts as trusted agents to senior decision-makers and key leaders and excels at providing data driven analytic insights, systems engineering, strategies and plans that address current and emerging challenges to national security.

The Integrated Warfare Systems Group (IWSG) focus is to provide engineering, technical and programmatic support to the Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems, Above Water Sensors and Lasers (PEO IWS 2.0) Directorate. Efforts include overarching program management, test and evaluation, systems engineering, operations analysis, systems integration, international, cyber security, IT network and programmatic support for over 40 PEO IWS 2.0 advanced radar, phased array radar, electronic warfare, electro-optic, advanced off-board electronic warfare/decoy and directed energy programs. #MC

Responsibilities

SPA has an immediate need for a dedicated mid or senior-level Product Support Analyst to directly support a Product Support Principal Assistant Program Manager in PEO IWS. Remote work is available.

Responsibilities include assisting the client with Product Support planning, execution, and analysis for reliability, availability, maintainability, and supportability related to Navy systems. Support will include the development of reliability and maintainability (R&M) requirements and assisting government client to define requirements in system specifications. Develop/define technical requirements, analysis methods and desired outcomes to enable assessment of allocated/predicted R&M performance to test and field performance data; and recommend corrective actions to eliminate negative variances in performance. Analysis of system/platform integration requirements and technical data to evaluate design suitability in planned operating configurations and environments. Support Failure Reporting Analysis and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) by analyzing system performance data, conducts/manages life data analysis using off-the-shelf software to identify and correct material R&M performance issues. Develop/review Reliability Block Diagrams, Failure Modes Effects Analyses and FMEA Criticality Analyses, and Maintenance Task or Reliability Centered Maintenance Analyses to determine design suitability or impacts to system supportability and affordability. Develop, coordinate, and conduct technical reliability studies and evaluations of engineering design concepts and design of experiments (DOE) constructs. Develop or review R&M and Supportability models using software such as Windchill Risk and Reliability, Opus Suite, or similar off-the-shelf applications. Support development of system acquisition and sustainment, and contractual strategies, by providing technical inputs for statements of work and contractual deliverable products. Assist Product Support Managers to prepare for Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (SETRs), Independent Logistics Assessments (ILAs), Gate Reviews, and other program assessments

Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 5+ years demonstrated work experience, including development and analysis of reliability and maintainability (R&M) requirements
  • Ability to travel to Washington DC multiple times per year if remote
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience developing manpower, reliability, availability, maintainability, and supportability requirements documents for Navy programs
  • Experience supporting Navy Program Office
