Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking an Audio/Visual Specialist with a background in audio/video type systems and configurations to support a major national laboratory.

The Audio/Visual team works to design, install, maintain, and support enterprise video collaboration and conference rooms, which provide secure and reliable video and audio conferencing with screen-sharing capabilities in both classified and unclassified environments. This includes video production and editing support in both classified and unclassified environments and provide onsite Auditorium live event support. In addition, the team installs hardware and software to conference rooms across the laboratory.

Set up and breakdown for video streaming events.
• Operate production equipment in large auditorium environment (camera, mic, mixer, etc.).
• Set up network connection.
• Use DAs to split signals.
• Operate computer field recorders.
• Digitally archive and transcode film and analog/digital video.
• Create metadata files.
• Post process digitized files.
• Directly interact with customers during live streaming events.
• Provide assistance to media library and archive customers.
• Assist with equipment updates, configuration, and maintenance.
• Work effectively with team members and independently with minimal supervision.

• High School Diploma and a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
• U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy Q security clearance.
