High school diploma or GED; at least 6 years of trades experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Possession of a current New Mexico Journeyman Plumber/Gas Fitter (JPG) License.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
Proven prior experience with the following:
- Troubleshooting/repairing/installing steam, domestic water, chilled water and gas distribution systems in commercial and/or industrial buildings.
- Testing, troubleshooting, repairing and replacing backflow prevention devices.
- Troubleshooting and repairing steam to hot water heat exchangers for commercial building heating systems.
- Maintaining accurate preventive and corrective maintenance records in portable recording device (iPad).
- Leading lower level technicians performing complex repairs.
- Providing structured training for lower level technicians and other trades
- Excellent customer service.
- Team Building skills and positive attitude.
- Working in the medical environment
